The photo project at the state boarding school for special needs children in Kreminna, Ukraine had its first workshop in the spring of 2018. Volunteers worked with the group to help the participants improve photography and storytelling skills. Each day consisted of lessons, critique, photo activities, and specific photo assignments. Every participant produced great photos and the week finished with an exhibition, party, and awards ceremony. Their photos give outsiders a glimpse of their lives and show how well the kids can express themselves artistically.
